Regional Training for new CAASPP Coordinators

Dear County and District Superintendents and Charter School Administrators:

NEW CALIFORNIA ASSESSMENT OF STUDENT PERFORMANCE AND PROGRESS COORDINATOR TRAINING

Every local educational agency (LEA) must identify a Coordinator responsible for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) System. The New CAASPP Coordinator Training is designed for LEA CAASPP Coordinators who have been in their role for less than 12 months. The purpose is to help new LEA CAASPP Coordinators understand their role and responsibilities.

Highlights of the training include:

  • Responsibilities of the CAASPP Coordinator
  • Procedures to support a successful CAASPP administration
  • Checklists, examples, and timeframes for completing activities
  • Opportunities to connect with other CAASPP Coordinators in a regional network
